Swahili, or Kiswahili, is the most widely-spoken African language, and is spoken throughout East Africa. It is recognized as an official national language in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. Pimsleur's Swahili teaches Standard Swahili as spoken in and around Nairobi, Kenya.
