Minecraft is a game with no specific goals for any player to accomplish. It allows players a large amount of freedom in selecting how to play the game. However, there exists an achievement system. By default, it is first person game, but players have the option to play in third person mode also. The core gameplay basically revolves around breaking and placing blocks. The game world essentially consist of rough 3D objects which are arranged in a fixed grid pattern and represent different materials, such as stone, dirt, water, various ores and tree trunks. Objects and items can only be placed at fixed locations relative to the grid, while players can move freely across the world.
