An Introduction to town Planning in the Early Islamic World

This book will mealy try to synthesize the findings of other writers more expert in this culture. Further this book looks at the pre-industrial Islamic cities with a focus on the eastern end of the Mediterranean. That being said we will look initially at the models of Islamic cities, look at the component parts in those models and then look at specific key Islamic cities to see if these models fit.
