Kennedy’s delicious contemporary series launch is filled with nostalgia as a woman returns to the Wyoming ranch of her childhood and reunites with her first love. Jessica Bailey takes a break from her job in Denver, Colo., to return to her family’s ranch and say her goodbyes; her father, Heck, and stepmother, Molly, plan to sell the ranch and move to a retirement community. When Jess arrives in Wyoming she discovers that this “plan” was Heck and Molly’s ploy to get Jess to come home and reunite with her former boyfriend, Cade Walker, who is now divorced and available. But Jess has trust issues that flare up when Cade’s ex-wife briefly stays at his house. As Jess lets down her guard and allows a relationship to develop between her and Cade, the sexual tension sizzles, and she must decide whether to let romance take center stage in her life.
