Driving through Jacksonville, Florida, on his way to a lecture at a medical convention, Henry Steadman is stopped by a local policeman for a minor traffic violation. Before he can react, the cop is shot by a speeding blue sedan-an act of violence that plunges Henry into a nightmare world. Suspected of the killing, Henry becomes the target of an intense manhunt. Scared and confused, uncertain of whom to trust, he turns to his friend Mike, but before he can help, Mike is killed-and the evidence points to Henry. To clear his name and save his family, he must distinguish friend from foe and untangle fatal lies and dangerous truths, to find out once and for all who is behind a diabolical plot to destroy him.
