In this radically different interpretation of the Hebrew text of the Song of Solomon, we do not follow the current fallacious attempts to find a historical basis of the text in the life of Solomon. We treat it as it obviously is: an imaginary romance designed to typify the love of the promised Messiah for the faithful of Israel, which is the Old Testament Church, and by extension, the love of Christ for His Church.
